Pokemon Rainbow: Ryder's Teddiursa

Ryder and Petunia traveled up the coast of the Rainbow Region to go back to White Beach to return Larry the Lapras to the ocean after Petunia injured him last time they were at White Beach.

Ryder sat down on a rock under a tree for a break and decided to let Larry out for a while.

The second Ryder let the Lapras out of his pokeball. He fired a water gun at Ryder's face and turned his back to him. "Don't hate me! I have no control over what she does," he yelled Larry.

Ryder sat under the tree enjoying the nice weather; a Teddiursa fell onto his lap. He looked at the little bear pokemon. "Hello, little guy, where's your trainer?"

A man ran up to Ryder, huffing and puffing. He was wearing nothing but a pair of Hawaiian print swimming trunks and a pair of goggles on his head. "There you are Teddiursa," he panted. He went to pick up the pokemon.

Teddiursa bit the man and then cuddled closer to Ryder.

"Ow, you're a mean little bear," he glared at the pokemon. He looked at Ryder, "Wow, he likes you. I'm Swimmer Paltro."

"My name's Ryder," he smiled.

"Oh wow, a Lapras!" Paltro exclaimed, running over to the pokemon.

To Ryder's surprise, Larry let Paltro cuddle and pet him. "He likes you."

"Oh, course he does, water pokemon love me," Paltro smiled. "Is he yours?"

"Kind of," Ryder replied. "It's a long story."

"Can I have him? You can have Teddiursa," Paltro said.

"Larry, do you want to go with Paltro?" Ryder asked the Lapras.

As a response, Larry sprayed a water gun at Ryder's face and nuzzles Paltro's shoulder.

Ryder throws Paltro Larry's pokeball, "He's you're now."

"Thank you! You can have Teddiursa," Paltro smiled.

"No, I really don't want hi-" Before Ryder could finish his sentence, a pokeball hit him in the head.

He saw Paltro running off with Larry's pokeball in his hand. "He's your problem now," he laughed maniacally.

"Wait! I don't want him!" Ryder yelled but it was too late, Paltro was gone.

He looked at the Teddiursa and sighed. Now he had another pokemon to get rid of.

He watched Teddiursa play with Petunia, they both seemed to like each other and they both got along.

Ryder decided it was time to resume him search for Laura.

Ryder called the Teddiursa Buddy until he could find a suitable trainer for him too. He did like Buddy though, he was cute and sweet and he got along well with Petunia but he still wasn't ready for pokemon right now.
