Personality: Maddy is a sweet girl who is very social but because of her lack of interactions with people she can be awkward. Maddy is a bit of a girly-girl and loves things that are lacy or frilly. She loves to draw and paint; she can often be seen jotting down a quick outline for an idea in her sketch book. She always tries to stand up for what is right even though she is terrified inside when she does. She’s a pacifist and extremely dislikes violence or war but is willing to fight to protect someone.

History: Maddy was born in Ottawa, Canada. Her dad is in the military so her family is constantly moving around because of his work. Since Maddy was never in one place very long, she has trouble making friends and she always wanted a best friend growing up.

When Maddy was five, her mom walked out on her and her dad. Maddy has never been able to forgive her mom. She has not spoken to her mom since and refusing to even though her dad tries to convince her to do so. This incident caused Maddy not to trust people.

With Maddy’s mom gone, her dad busy with work, and her lack of friends, Maddy turned to art. Her drawings and painting help to release all the emotions she felt about her mom and also help to fill the void causes by the lack of friends in her life. The rest of the time, when Maddy did not draw or paint, she would read or do her homework. Even though she kept busy, she still felt something was missing in her life.

When Maddy and her father moved to Japan, she found a box neither of them had packed. When she opened it up, it was her digimon partner, a Mananomon. Maddy was so happy that she had finally found a best friend. She felt silly calling her partner different names whenever she digivolved so Maddy named her partner Pandora (Pan for short). Shortly after meeting Pan, she joined The Lume in order to make new friends.

Personality: Pan is quiet and only really has conversations with Maddy. She can be sarcastic around other people and their digimon and often makes unnecessary comments. Despite Pan’s sarcasm, she is a good friend to Maddy and will often not leave her side. Pan is loyal and brave and if she wants to, she can be kind and gentle. She is often found either cuddled up in Maddy’s arms or on Maddy’s shoulder.
