*Sigh* Back to Reality...

So I got back from my vacation a week ago. The vacation was great! We only had one rainy day which was pretty good and it was around 25°C the whole time which was wonderful. We did have a few pit-falls but that happens with every family vacation.

I would have to say the most bizarre story from my vacation is from the night we set out. We got lost in Montreal and anyone who has ever been there knows that is a confusing place especially if you only speak and read English. So anyways, we got pulled over by the police for going too slow on the highway, that’s right, too slow. I have never ever heard of that before so that became a running joke during the vacation.

There was some big change at work while I was gone. My friend resigned as assistance manager because she could no longer deal with the manager (she just resigned the position and she still works at the store). I honestly don’t blame her after all that she has had to deal with since she took up the position. She lasted longer than I would have.

And apparently another girl I’m working with is also resigning because of the manager. Seriously, the last five people who have quit are because of her. You think the owner and the general manager would take notice by now especially since people have actually gone to them with complaints about her.

What you have heard about her is only the very tip of the iceberg. I never told you the things she has said and done behind my back. Most of those things are horrible and almost caused me to quit. She is a psychopath and she should not be in charge of a store.

On a lighter note, I did have a four day weekend this week. To be honest, I like it but it is also a revoke of the set hours we had agreed upon (I also have been working 12pm-8pm when my hours are suppose to be 12pm-6:30pm). Anyways, I just relaxed this weekend. Saturday I had to let my friend’s dogs out while she was in Niagara Falls; that went well.

I guess that’s it for now.
